The Smith & Wesson 24/7 folding knife is a versatile tool for everyday carry (EDC). This means it’s also perfect for outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, or fishing. The knife features a Drop Point blade made of high-hardness D2 carbon steel with a hardness of 58–60 HRC. The smooth blade allows for precise cutting, and the thumb groove on the back of the handle ensures a secure grip while working. The blade can be opened with one hand using the double-sided thumb stud, and the Crossbar Lock mechanism prevents it from accidentally closing.

The knife’s handle is made of a lightweight polymer with a hexagonal honeycomb texture. This texture reduces the chance of the tool slipping out of a wet hand. There is a clip on the handle for carrying the knife in a pants pocket or on a belt. The ability to move the clip to the other side allows for a better fit according to the user’s preferences. The knife features a hole in the handle next to the pommel, through which a lanyard or paracord can be threaded.
