Effective from 22.10.2026. This is a translation of the Latvian master version; in case of any discrepancy, the Latvian version prevails.
1. General provisions and definitions
1.1. These terms ("Terms") govern the use of the online store fine.lv ("Store") and the conclusion and performance of sales contracts between the Seller and the Buyer.
1.2. Definitions:
- Seller — SIA HB Group (Section 2).
- Buyer — a person placing an order in the Store.
- Consumer — a natural person buying goods for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
- Business — a Buyer purchasing goods for their trade, business or profession.
- User — any person visiting or using the Store.
- Contract — a distance sales contract concluded under these Terms.
- Account — a User's registered profile in the Store.
1.3. By using the Store, the User confirms having read these Terms and agrees to comply with them. By placing an order, the Buyer accepts the Terms; an order cannot be completed without this.
1.4. These Terms do not limit the Consumer's rights under the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the EU, including the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet Regulation No. 255 of 20 May 2014 "Regulations on Distance Contracts". If any provision conflicts with mandatory law, the law applies.
1.5. The current version of the Terms is always available in the Store and is also sent to the Buyer with the order confirmation on a durable medium (e-mail).
2. Seller information
2.1. Seller: SIA HB Group, registration No. 40203593033, VAT No. LV40203593033, registered address: Skolas iela 18, Ogre, LV-5001, Latvija.
2.2. Contacts: phone +37127879580, e-mail [email protected]. Pick-up and return point: Skolas iela 18, Ogre, LV-5001, Latvija (opening hours under "Contacts").
2.3. The supervisory authority for consumer rights is the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC), www.ptac.gov.lv.
3. Using the Store
3.1. The Store is available free of charge in Latvian, Russian, English and other languages offered in the Store. The Contract may be concluded in any of these languages.
3.2. Purchases may be made by natural persons aged 18 or over with full legal capacity, and by legal entities. Minors may place orders only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3.3. The Seller keeps the Store running to a reasonable standard but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Operation may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond the Seller's control.
3.4. The Seller may change the Store's content, design, product range and features. This does not affect Contracts already concluded.
4. Account
4.1. Orders may be placed as a guest or with an Account. The Account provides order history, wishlist, delivery addresses and the withdrawal function.
4.2. When registering, the User provides true, complete and up-to-date information and keeps it updated.
4.3. The User is responsible for keeping login credentials secure and must not share them. Any suspected unauthorised access must be reported to the Seller immediately. Actions performed with the User's credentials are deemed performed by the User unless proven otherwise.
4.4. The User may delete the Account at any time by writing to [email protected] or in Account settings. Data that must be retained by law (e.g. accounting records) is kept for the statutory period.
4.5. The Seller may suspend or delete an Account for material breach of the Terms, false information or fraudulent use, with prior notice where possible and lawful.
5. Product information, prices and discounts
5.1. Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided as accurately as possible based on manufacturer and supplier data. Images are illustrative: colours may vary by screen, and images may show accessories not included. The package contents are stated in the product description.
5.2. Each product shows its availability (e.g. "In stock", "In supplier's warehouse") and an estimated delivery date. Some products ship from the Seller's suppliers' warehouses, so delivery times may differ.
5.3. Prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT at the rate applicable in Latvia. Delivery charges are not included in product prices and are shown in the cart before the order is confirmed. The final total is always shown before payment.
5.4. The price valid when the order is confirmed is binding and will not change afterwards.
5.5. When announcing a price reduction, the Seller shows the prior price — the lowest price applied during at least 30 days before the reduction. For progressive reductions, the prior price is the price before the first reduction.
5.6. If a price or description is obviously wrong due to a technical or human error (e.g. a manifestly low price), the Seller will promptly contact the Buyer and offer to sell at the correct price or cancel the order. Any payment made is refunded in full within 14 days.
5.7. The Seller may limit the maximum quantity of an item per order.
5.8. The Seller does not apply personalised prices based on automated decision-making.
6. Placing an order and concluding the Contract
6.1. To place an order, the Buyer: (1) adds products to the cart; (2) enters contact details and a delivery address; (3) chooses delivery and payment methods; (4) reviews the order summary and corrects any errors; (5) accepts the Terms and clicks "Order with obligation to pay" (or equivalent).
6.2. The Contract is concluded when the Buyer has confirmed and paid for the order (or, for payment by invoice, when payment reaches the Seller's account). The Buyer then receives an e-mail confirmation with the order details, price and these Terms.
6.3. If a product becomes unavailable after the Contract is concluded (e.g. the supplier can no longer deliver it), the Seller will promptly inform the Buyer and offer a substitute or cancellation. If the Buyer declines the substitute, the amount paid is refunded within 14 days.
6.4. The Seller may refuse to accept or perform an order where fraud is reasonably suspected, payment is not authorised, or false data has been provided.
6.5. Orders are recorded in the Seller's system and can be viewed in the Account. An electronic invoice is sent to the Buyer's e-mail.
7. Payment
7.1. Payment methods: payment cards (Visa, Mastercard), online banking (Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor, Revolut, etc.), Apple Pay and Google Pay, bank transfer against invoice (for businesses), and other methods shown in the cart, including instalments via partners.
7.2. Payments are processed by licensed payment service providers. The Seller does not store card data.
7.3. If payment is not authorised within 24 hours (bank transfer — within 3 business days), the Seller may cancel the order.
7.4. Instalment (leasing) agreements are concluded between the Buyer and the financing provider on that provider's terms.
8. Delivery and collection
8.1. Delivery options: store pick-up (Skolas iela 18, Ogre, LV-5001, Latvija), courier delivery and parcel locker delivery. Current prices and times are shown under "Delivery" and in the cart. Delivery is made within Latvia unless other countries are indicated in the Store.
8.2. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product page and in the cart. Unless agreed otherwise, the Seller delivers within 30 days of the Contract. If the Seller fails to deliver within the agreed time and an additional reasonable period, the Consumer may terminate the Contract and obtain a refund.
8.3. Products with different availability in one order may arrive in separate parcels at no extra charge.
8.4. The Buyer provides an accurate delivery address and contact details. If delivery fails due to the Buyer (wrong address, parcel not collected), the Seller may charge for re-delivery.
8.5. Store pick-up orders may be collected within 7 days of the ready-for-collection notice. Parcel locker storage time is set by the carrier. If goods are not collected, the Seller notifies the Buyer; if the Buyer does not respond, the order is cancelled and the amount paid is refunded less the actual delivery costs.
8.6. Ownership and the risk of accidental loss pass to the Buyer when the Buyer or a person designated by the Buyer (other than the carrier) receives the goods.
8.7. On receipt, we recommend checking the packaging and, if there is visible damage, noting it with the courier and taking photos. This helps handle claims but does not limit the Consumer's rights regarding non-conformity.
9. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
9.1. The Consumer may withdraw from the Contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the Consumer or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier) receives the goods; for an order delivered in several parcels — on receipt of the last item.
9.2. Withdrawal can be made by any of the following:
- the withdrawal function — the "Withdraw from contract here" button in the Account under "My orders", or on the withdrawal page https://fine.lv/en/return-form.pdf (for guests), available throughout the withdrawal period;
- e-mail to [email protected] with a clear statement or the completed withdrawal form (annexed);
- a written statement delivered or posted to Skolas iela 18, Ogre, LV-5001, Latvija.
9.3. The Seller promptly sends an acknowledgement on a durable medium (e-mail) stating the content of the withdrawal and the date and time of its receipt.
9.4. The deadline is met if the statement is sent before the 14-day period expires.
9.5. The Consumer returns the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal, by bringing them to Skolas iela 18, Ogre, LV-5001, Latvija, or sending them via a carrier designated by the Seller or another carrier. The Consumer bears the direct cost of return unless the Seller has agreed to cover it.
9.6. The Seller refunds all payments received, including the original delivery cost (up to the cheapest standard delivery offered), within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, using the same means of payment unless agreed otherwise. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods are received or the Consumer provides proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier.
9.7. The Consumer may inspect the goods as they could in a shop. The Consumer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Goods should be returned complete and, where possible, in original packaging; opening the packaging alone is not a reason to refuse a refund.
9.8. The right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to:
- goods made to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
- goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (e.g. food);
- sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery (e.g. cosmetics, perfumes, hygiene products, sealed earphone tips);
- goods which, after delivery, are by nature inseparably mixed with other items;
- sealed audio or video recordings or software unsealed after delivery;
- digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. activation codes) where performance began with the Consumer's express consent and acknowledgement of losing the right of withdrawal.
9.9. The right of withdrawal applies to Consumers only, not to Businesses.
10. Conformity, claims and guarantee
10.1. The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity existing at delivery and becoming apparent within 2 years of receipt (legal guarantee). A lack of conformity appearing within 1 year of receipt is presumed to have existed at delivery unless the Seller proves otherwise.
10.2. The Consumer may first require free repair or replacement. If this is impossible, disproportionate or not done within a reasonable time, the Consumer may require a proportionate price reduction or terminate the Contract and obtain a refund. The Contract cannot be terminated for a minor lack of conformity.
10.3. Claims are submitted by e-mail to [email protected], via the Account or in person, as soon as possible after the lack of conformity is discovered, stating the order number, description of the issue and the requested remedy, with photos if possible.
10.4. The Seller responds in writing within 15 days of receiving the claim. If this is not possible for objective reasons, the Seller will inform the Buyer and set a reasonable deadline.
10.5. Where goods must be sent for inspection or repair, the Seller covers the necessary transport costs. Bulky goods or goods over 10 kg are collected at the Seller's expense.
10.6. Before handing in a device, the Buyer backs up data and removes SIM cards, memory cards and personal information. The Seller is not liable for loss of data on devices handed in for repair.
10.7. The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused after delivery by the Buyer: mechanical damage, liquid damage, use contrary to instructions, unauthorised repair or normal wear of consumables (e.g. battery capacity, filters).
10.8. Any commercial guarantee by the manufacturer or Seller is in addition to, and does not limit, the legal guarantee. Its terms are stated on the warranty card or in the product description.
10.9. Repaired goods not collected after notice are stored for 3 months. Thereafter, after prior written warning, the Seller may dispose of them as permitted by law.
11. Business customers (B2B)
11.1. When buying for a company, the Buyer provides the company name, registration and VAT numbers, and confirms authority to act on its behalf.
11.2. Section 9 (withdrawal) and consumer-only rules do not apply to Businesses.
11.3. Businesses receive the manufacturer's warranty, but not less than 12 months, unless agreed otherwise. The Seller's liability to Businesses is limited to the value of the relevant order, and the Seller is not liable for indirect losses, including lost profit, except for intent or gross negligence.
11.4. The domestic reverse-charge VAT regime applies to goods covered by it in Latvia where the statutory conditions are met. For VAT-registered customers in other EU states, a 0% rate may apply if the VAT number is valid in VIES and the goods are dispatched from Latvia.
12. Gift cards, promotions and discount codes
12.1. Gift cards may be used to pay in the Store within the validity period shown on the card (at least 12 months from purchase). Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except as required by law. Any unused balance remains until expiry.
12.2. Promotion and discount code terms (period, products, minimum spend) are stated with the promotion. Discounts cannot be combined unless stated. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
12.3. On withdrawal from a discounted purchase, the amount actually paid is refunded. For goods paid with a gift card, the amount is restored to the card or, at the Consumer's choice, refunded in money.
13. Reviews and user content
13.1. Product reviews may be posted by Users who bought the product in the Store. The Seller verifies purchase by linking each review to an order.
13.2. The Seller publishes both positive and negative reviews, and may decline or remove reviews containing offensive, false or unlawful content, advertising, personal data, or content unrelated to the product.
13.3. By posting content, the User grants the Seller a free, non-exclusive right to use it in the Store and the Seller's marketing channels, and confirms it does not infringe third-party rights.
14. Intellectual property
14.1. Store content — texts, design, logos, product descriptions, images, databases and software — belongs to the Seller or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other IP rights.
14.2. Copying, reproducing, publishing or commercial use of content without the Seller's written consent is prohibited, except for personal, non-commercial use.
14.3. Trademarks and manufacturer logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
15. Prohibited conduct
Users must not:
- use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated tools to collect data or send mass requests without the Seller's written consent (price comparison sites only under an agreement);
- disrupt the Store, circumvent security, upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access;
- place fictitious or fraudulent orders or use another person's payment means or data;
- abuse promotions, e.g. by creating multiple Accounts to obtain one discount;
- buy for resale in bulk where a promotion limits quantities.
In case of breach, the Seller may restrict access, cancel orders and claim damages.
16. Liability
16.1. The parties are liable for non-performance or improper performance in accordance with Latvian law.
16.2. The Seller is not liable for losses caused by false data provided by the Buyer or by failure to follow product instructions or these Terms.
16.3. The Seller is not liable for the content of third-party websites linked from the Store.
16.4. The Seller is not liable for temporary outages of the Store unless caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
16.5. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury, for intent or gross negligence, or under consumer protection rules.
16.6. The Buyer is responsible for using goods lawfully. For example, drones must be operated under EU and Latvian rules on unmanned aircraft (including operator registration and flight restrictions); radio and telecom equipment only on permitted frequencies.
17. Force majeure
17.1. Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable foresight and control (natural disasters, war, epidemics, acts of authorities, large-scale carrier or communications failures, etc.).
17.2. The Seller will inform the Buyer promptly and agree a new deadline. If force majeure lasts more than 30 days, either party may terminate the Contract and any amount paid is refunded.
18. Personal data and cookies
18.1. The Seller is the controller of the Buyer's personal data and processes it under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Privacy Policy https://fine.lv/en/page/privacy-policy.
18.2. Data is processed to perform the Contract (order handling, delivery, payment, guarantee), to meet legal obligations (accounting) and for legitimate interests (fraud prevention, Store security). Delivery data is shared with carriers and payment data with payment service providers.
18.3. Marketing communications are sent only with the User's consent or where permitted by law. Users can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each message or in Account settings.
18.4. The Store uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to operate the Store; analytics and marketing cookies only with consent, which can be changed under "Cookie settings".
19. Communication and notices
19.1. The Seller contacts the Buyer by the e-mail, phone or SMS given in the order. The Buyer contacts the Seller using the details in clause 2.2.
19.2. "In writing" in these Terms includes e-mail and Account notifications.
20. Dispute resolution
20.1. Disputes are first resolved by negotiation. Complaints can be sent to [email protected].
20.2. If a dispute is not resolved, the Consumer may contact: the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Brīvības iela 55, Riga, LV-1010, www.ptac.gov.lv); the Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission at PTAC (out-of-court body); the European Consumer Centre Latvia (www.ecclatvia.lv) for cross-border disputes; or the courts under Latvian law.
20.3. These Terms and the Contract are governed by Latvian law. If the Consumer resides in another EU state to which the Seller directs its activities, this choice does not deprive the Consumer of the protection of mandatory rules of their country of residence.
20.4. Consumers residing in Lithuania may also contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT, www.vvtat.lt); consumers residing in Estonia — the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA, www.ttja.ee).
21. Amendments and final provisions
21.1. The Seller may amend the Terms by publishing a new version in the Store with its effective date. Registered Users are notified of material changes by e-mail. Each order is governed by the version in force when it was placed.
21.2. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
21.3. The Seller may assign its rights and obligations to a third party provided this does not worsen the Buyer's position. The Buyer may assign rights only with the Seller's written consent, except Consumer rights assignable by law.
