PGYTech MagCam 2 Camera Grip (iPhone/Android) (Gray)

PGYTech MagCam 2 Smart Camera Grip

The PGYTech MagCam 2 is a versatile 3-in-1 camera grip that combines a comfortable grip, a 3000 mAh portable power bank, a Bluetooth remote control, and a practical desktop stand (EDC mode). A magnetic system with a force of up to 25N ensures a stable phone mount, and the charging capability allows you to work without interruptions. The device is compatible with iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS, offering remote camera control, a physical dial for adjusting settings, and support for the PGYTECH Pro Imaging app. It’s the perfect solution for those who want greater control over their photos and videos without sacrificing mobility.

Modular design and stand mode (EDC)

MagCam 2 consists of three modules that can be combined or used separately, depending on the situation. Only after attaching the grip to the EDC module do you get the charging function in stand mode, which allows you to conveniently use your phone on a desk. The EDC module itself functions as a stable magnetic stand, but without its own power source. This solution offers greater flexibility and allows you to adapt the equipment to everyday use.

Magnetic charging and power bank

The built-in 3000 mAh battery allows you to charge your smartphone while working, which is particularly useful during recording and photography. The grip supports wireless charging via the magnetic standard (MagSafe), as well as wired charging up to 10W via USB-C. In practice, this means fewer interruptions and greater independence from power outlets. Additionally, the device meets air transport standards, so you can easily take it on board an airplane.

Precise control just like on a camera

One of the key features of the MagCam 2 is the Custom Dial, which allows you to adjust settings such as ISO, exposure, and focus without touching the screen. Combined with the two-stage shutter release, you can first focus (half-press) and then take the photo—just like with a classic camera. This makes operation more intuitive and faster. This is especially important for dynamic shots.

Bluetooth Remote and Convenient Shooting

The magnetic Bluetooth remote can be detached and used remotely, which works well for group photos or solo shoots. It allows you to control the shutter, change modes, zoom, or switch lenses. This means you don’t have to reach for your phone every time. In practice, this translates to greater freedom and smoother operation.

Double-sided magnet and accessory expansion

The grip is equipped with a dual-sided magnetic system that allows you to mount both your phone and an additional accessory, such as a fill light, at the same time. This solution will be particularly appreciated by those recording video or creating content in low-light conditions. This lets you expand your setup without additional mounts. The whole setup remains compact and comfortable to use.

App and Compatibility

MagCam 2 works with the PGYTECH Pro Imaging app, which offers extended camera control capabilities and more advanced settings on iPhones. Android users can access these features through the native camera app, though the range of capabilities may vary depending on the model. It’s worth noting that some devices (e.g., Samsung, Sony, vivo) may have limited Bluetooth compatibility. The set also includes a magnetic ring that allows you to use magnetic features on phones without MagSafe.
