What's more, all moving parts of the Touit 2.8/12, conceived specifically for Sony NEX and Fujifilm X Series cameras, are engineered for extreme precision and a long working life. And finally, its strong and rigid metal bayonet mount makes it an absolutely dependable companion for many years to come. Note! Zeiss has released a new firmware update for the Touit lenses with e-mount version. The changes are for Touit 2.8/12 E-mount & Touit 1.8/32 E-mount: With this version, the lenses also support phase detection autofocus and the fast hybrid autofocus of newer Sony E-mount cameras. As of Feb. 2015 all Touit e-mount lenses are already supplied with the new firmware.
