The Avatto ZMS16 sensor is a compact ZigBee device that gives you full control over the security of your home or office. It detects any movement within its range, sending instant notifications to your smartphone app. By working with the Tuya ecosystem and Smart Life, it allows you to create automated scenarios that enhance comfort and security - such as automatically turning on lights when motion is detected or activating the alarm when no one should be in the room.

Precise motion detection

Avatto ZMS16 uses PIR technology to accurately detect the presence of people within a range of up to 8 meters and 60°. When it detects motion, it immediately sends a signal to the ZigBee system, allowing it to instantly activate related devices. The sensor responds only to real thermal motion, minimizing the risk of false alarms, such as from pets or changes in lighting.

Wide detection angle and position adjustment

The Fresnel lens provides a wide detection range, and the rotating design with magnetic base allows you to precisely adjust the angle of the sensor. You can point it precisely toward a door, corridor or entrance area to increase detection efficiency. The device is recommended to be mounted at a height of about 2.2 meters for an optimal field of observation.

Cooperation with ZigBee system

The ZMS16 sensor operates on the ZigBee 3.0 standard, providing stable and energy-efficient communication. It requires connection to a ZigBee gateway, which integrates it with other smart home devices. This allows you to create elaborate automation scenarios - such as activating lights when you enter a room, turning on a camera when motion is detected, or sending a notification when a sensor activates while you're away from home.

Easy to install and energy efficient

Thanks to its clever design, the sensor can be mounted on both walls and ceilings, making it easy to fit into different rooms. The magnetic base allows you to quickly detach the device, for example, to replace batteries or change the angle of observation. Installation requires no tools - just stick the base in the desired location and place the sensor on it. The device is powered by a CR123A (3 V) battery, which ensures long and stable operation without frequent replacement. A low-charge signaling system reminds you in advance to replace the battery, and an energy-efficient ZigBee module minimizes power consumption, extending the life of the power supply.

Smart integration with AVATTO devices

Once connected to a ZigBee gateway, the sensor works with other Avatto smart devices. You can connect it to lights, switches or cameras to create fully automated scenes. The ZMS16 adds convenience to everyday use and is an important part of a smart home security system.
