Mode 3 (RJ9 cable to E-STOP port on the base) - cuts off power completely. After releasing the button, it is necessary to manually turn on the base, and in some games also restart to restore FFB. For flight simulations, a USB-connected device to a PC also provides immediate feedback deactivation, which goes away when the button is released.
