The Nitecore MT06MD Pocket Medical Penlight

The Nitecore MT06MD diagnostic flashlight is a practical tool designed with doctors in mind. It is distinguished by high color rendering index and RG0 photobiological safety rating. It offers 3 brightness modes to choose from and is powered by 2 AAA batteries (not included). The device is extremely lightweight and handy, yet rugged and IPX8 waterproof.

High quality light

The product is equipped with Nichia 219B LED, which generates excellent quality light with a color temperature of 5000K and high color rendering index (CRI≥90). This means it can provide near-natural lighting and excellent color reproduction. This allows the doctor to see every detail. What's more, the technologies used ensure that the light is even, does not tire the eyes and does not flicker.

In the interest of safety

The device also meets the photobiological safety standards of IEC/EN62471. It has been classified as RG0, which means it is risk-free. Harmful blue light will also not pose a threat to its users. All this makes it possible to use the flashlight on a daily basis without worrying about safety.

3 brightness modes

The device allows you to choose from 3 brightness levels, making it perfect for a variety of applications. The default setting is Low mode (4lm), which will be suitable for pupil examination, for example. The Mid (45lm) and High (180lm) modes are designed for, among others, paramedics. They will facilitate, for example, a thorough examination of wounds and injuries.

Lightweight and portable

The flashlight is lightweight and portable enough to carry with you at all times. It weighs only 22g and its length is only 128mm. The device is also equipped with a stainless steel clip, with which it can be attached to a pocket, for example. This makes it ideal for everyday use in the hospital or clinic.

Long runtime

To power the flashlight, 2 AAA batteries are required, which are easily available in many stores. The device uses advanced technology that allows it to run for up to 35 hours. So there is no need to change the batteries too often - this way it helps to save money too!

Solid construction

The flashlight is made of aircraft grade aluminum alloy and finished with hard anodizing (HA III military grade). Thanks to this MT06MD is extremely durable and resistant to falls from a height of up to 1m. Full metal surface makes it possible to sterilize the device in alcohol. The flashlight is also distinguished by water resistance IPX8. It can be safely immersed to a depth of up to 2m.
