The innovative Thermacell® Protect tick control system uses the natural ecosystem to destroy ticks in their own habitat and transforms mice from host animals into tick killers. The mice are given nest-building material treated with two active substances, which is completely harmless to the host animals but has a deadly effect on the ticks. Young ticks which, in the early stages of their life cycle feed almost exclusively on mouse blood, are destroyed by Thermacell® tick protection, before they can infect humans and animals with Lyme disease and FSME.

With eight tick tubes, an area of 340m² can be protected for 12 months.
