Sledges — Description

Sledges and snow sliders are the must-buy of the first snow day when the hill by the house is full of children and the shops have sold out – a plastic sledge weighs a kilo, a child pulls it alone and it does not freeze to the ground like wooden runners, and a slider fits in a school backpack. The category lists the Dunaj plastic sledge and the Apple 42 snow slider. Dunaj is a Polish plastic sledge with a seat, backrest and two runners that glide on packed snow and ice without waxing – a rope at the front for towing, brakes at the sides for the hands, the 85x40 cm size suits a child from 3 to 8 years and 50 kg, and it also serves as a tray on which a parent pulls a toddler around the yard; the plastic is cold-resistant to minus 30 degrees and does not break when the sledge hits a tree. The Apple 42 is a round 42 cm snow slider with a handle on which you sit and spin on the way down – for a child from 4 and an adult up to 90 kg, the hard polyethylene surface is faster than a sledge on a packed hill, the dished seat holds the hips and the handle lets you carry it like a plate. Both wash with water and store against a wall in summer. Choose by child – the Dunaj sledge for a little one up to 8, the Apple 42 slider for a schoolchild and speed. Fast delivery across Latvia.
