Sibley Fly Nylon 400

This Sibley Fly Nylon 400 offers essential sun protection for your Sibley Bell tent, safeguarding its coating from harmful UV rays and enhancing wind resistance. It also functions as a versatile stand-alone shelter, helping to maintain comfortable temperatures inside your tent. Crafted from Australian-designed knotted Duralon® awning fabric, this UV Fly provides advanced sun protection, blocking 90% of UV rays for optimal comfort. Its unique design, featuring millions of tiny holes, allows wind to pass through effortlessly, ensuring exceptional wind resistance. You can experience temperatures up to 32% cooler under the tarp compared to direct sunlight. Beyond its primary use, this fly can also serve independently as an open shade structure, offering flexible options for various outdoor setups. If your tent is often in sunny locations or tends to overheat, the UV Fly presents an ideal solution. The UV Fly provides protection against: - **UV radiation:** It shields against the damaging effects of UV radiation, preserving the fabric's coating and extending the tent's overall lifespan. - **Insulation:** By creating an additional layer between the tent and the outside air, the fly helps regulate internal temperatures, keeping the tent cooler in summer. **Properties:** - **Double Roof Protection:** Acts as a secondary protective roof for your Sibley Bell Tent, deflecting the sun's UV rays from your canvas while allowing the tent to breathe. - **Designed for intensive and professional use:** This rugged, all-season double roof is built to endure very strong desert winds, simultaneously shielding and cooling your tent. - **Extends the lifespan:** It prevents the sun's UV rays from eroding your tent's protective coating. - **Insulating Properties:** Creates a well-ventilated space between the canvas and the fly, which helps regulate the temperature inside your tent. This keeps it cooler in hot sun and reduces heat loss in cold conditions, making it ideal for desert camping. - **UV Protection:** Blocks up to 90% of harmful UV rays, preventing sun damage and slowing the natural degradation of your canvas’s protective treatments. - **Standalone Shelter Option:** Can be pitched independently as a Sibley Bell-tent-shaped shade shelter. This requires a compatible Sibley pole set and extra stakes, or you can repurpose your existing Sibley hardware for a lightweight lounge setup. - **Washable:** Easy to clean by hand using mild detergent and warm water. - **Colourfast:** Guaranteed for 10 years. **Pros & Cons:** **Pros:** - Suitable for sunny climates and seasons, as well as for (semi-)permanent pitches. - Lightweight. - Easy to install. - Extends the life of your tent. - Helps maintain the tent fabric's coating like new for longer. - Ideal for (semi-)permanent construction. - Durable and wind resistant. - Offers insulating properties. - Blocks 90% of UV radiation. - Washable. **Cons:** - Not waterproof. - Allows "dirt" to pass through. **Technical properties for Sibley Fly UV 400:** - SKU: DRCA400-CONFIG - Weight: 4 kg - Manufacturer: CanvasCamp - Dimensions box 1: 80 x 23 x 23 cm - Weight box 1: 4.4 kg - Area: 13 m² - Water column: 0 mm - Height of sidewall: 60 cm - Diameter: 400 cm - Height: 250 cm - Sibley Size: 400 cm - EAN: 5407011661247 - Compatibility inner tent: No - Number of doors: 1 - Mesh wall: No - Size: 4 m - Shape: Single Door **What is included for Sibley Fly UV 400?** - Sibley Fly UV Protector - Included Guy Ropes - Bag
