This smart controller supports Z-Wave Long Range technology, ensuring stable communication even across large properties, with a maximum line-of-sight coverage exceeding 1 kilometer. Key features include scheduling and energy consumption monitoring, which help improve user convenience and building energy efficiency. The device integrates modern security measures, boasts low power consumption, and offers quick setup for seamless integration into any smart home ecosystem. A compatible Z-Wave hub is required for the controller to operate. Beyond basic opening and closing, the controller allows for creating automated schedules, enabling blinds to adapt to your daily routine, reduce heat buildup in rooms, and enhance comfort. Based on the latest Z-Wave S800 chip, the Shelly Wave Shutter LR operates in the sub-GHz band, making transmissions resistant to interference. It offers a choice between 864 MHz for Z-Wave Long Range and 868.4 MHz for the Z-Wave Plus standard. In Z-Wave Plus mode, the indoor range can reach up to 40 meters, and the device functions as a signal booster. Z-Wave Long Range provides an indoor range of up to 80 meters and communicates directly with the hub without acting as a repeater. Z-Wave technology facilitates interoperability between devices from multiple manufacturers via a compatible hub, ensuring easy expansion of your smart home system. The SmartStart feature simplifies setup with a quick code scan, and OTA (over-the-air) software updates keep the controller current.
