MS135 Non-Linear Spring

An excellently crafted non-linear spring of the usual superior Prometheus quality, designed for optimal performance and durability. The nominal value of the spring strength indicates the expected muzzle velocity in m/s (meters per second) with 0.20g heavy ammunition, which can be multiplied by 3.28 to get the value in fps. The stated nominal value is only a guideline; the effective muzzle velocity depends on the tuner's skills and the system's air seal. When installed correctly, the effective value typically deviates by less than 10% from the nominal value. Experience shows that the effective value is often higher than the nominal value, so in case of doubt, it is always advisable to choose the next weaker spring. To achieve the desired muzzle velocity as optimally as possible, different components and combinations (springs, piston head, cylinder head, etc.) often need to be tried. For systems with particularly good air seal (e.g., KWA G2X), significantly lower nominal values must be selected.
