Leaf Boonie Hat (Everglade, M)

Invader Gear was founded in 2004 and has always focused on offering equipment with an outstanding price/performance ratio. The brand primarily offers a wide selection of tactical clothing in modern designs, available in a range of colors and camouflage patterns.

It also provides a variety of tactical equipment, including vests, plate carriers, MOLLE Pouches, backpacks, protective pads, slings, and more products that follow the same philosophy.

The Leaf Boonie Hat is an updated variant of the classic headwear, introduced by the US during the Vietnam War and employed by multiple countries in other conflicts. While designed primarily for use in hot tropical climates, the Boonie hat saw widespread use in various biomes and is considered one of the most popular hats used by the military.

The Leaf model is manufactured from high-quality rip-stop textiles in solid colors and various camouflage patterns. It features several improvements over the original design. The main upgrade is a set of leaf-shaped pieces of fabric that were added to the design. Additionally, the rim of the hat was slightly narrowed down to prevent snags in bushes and heavy foliage without omitting the hat's performance. Another modification is adding a piece of fabric that allows the attachment of branches and vegetation. Together, they increase the hat's camouflage properties and break down the head's silhouette.

A simple yet effective chin strap prevents the hat from falling off. It allows a small degree of length adjustment thanks to the polymer stopper.

The Leaf Boonie Hat is an ideal choice for military applications and other outdoor activities, such as hiking, trekking, and competitive shooting, making it a versatile piece of headwear.
