Windstopper, manufactured by WL Gore, is the lightest and softest fabric in the Basic range. Its construction was specifically developed to create garments that block wind while allowing skin to breathe. This is the most effective combination if your activity level requires protection from wind and cold.
The GORE Windstopper range includes: Windstopper Skyrun200, our thickest material, particularly suited to demanding, harsh climates; Windstopper Skyrun N2S, a mid-weight material recommended for the autumn season; and Windstopper Capetown, Activent, and Argon, materials for windbreakers and vests, very lightweight and suited to milder temperatures. The key characteristics that make these materials suitable for use are their durable wind protection and breathability.
