Sonos Ray Black

Sonos Ray

Compact soundbar with precisely balanced stereo sound and advanced audio technologies for the perfect TV and music experience.

The Sonos Ray soundbar offers stereo sound with clear dialogue and pronounced bass thanks to its proprietary acoustics and anti-distortion technology. All four acoustic elements face forward, minimizing interference from surrounding surfaces and allowing placement even in enclosed furniture such as TV stands.

The device supports Trueplay technology for automatic sound adjustment to room acoustics, Speech Enhancement for dialogue emphasis, and Night Sound for reducing loud effects. Control is possible via TV remote, Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, or capacitive touch controls.

• Four Class D digital amplifiers with two tweeters and two mid-woofers
• Supports Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround formats for spatial audio
• Trueplay technology automatically tunes sound according to room acoustics
• Connection via optical port with included cable and infrared receiver for TV remote
• Wi-Fi connectivity with Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect support
• Ability to switch audio between soundbar and Sonos Ace headphones
• Compact dimensions 557 × 70 × 93 mm and weight of only 1.9 kg

Advanced audio features
Speech Enhancement emphasizes voice frequencies for better dialogue intelligibility, while Night Sound reduces the intensity of loud sounds and increases the level of quieter ones. Patented bass reflex port design minimizes distortion.

Flexible connectivity and control
In addition to optical input, it offers an Ethernet port for wired connection and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n at 2.4 GHz. Capacitive touch control allows volume adjustment, playback, and pause directly on the device.

System requirements
Requires a TV or PC with optical output, internet connection, power source 100–240 V, and the latest Sonos app. For Trueplay function, an iOS device with version 11.4 and higher is required.
